The red inner bark under the outer glistening bark is a distinctive characteristic of the Arjuna that has been used for thousands of years in Ayurveda, for its Kapha Pitta Dosha balancing with cardioprotective, cardiotonic, astringent, action and capability of lowering fever. Bark has an effect on the central nervous system, the circulatory system, and the reproductive system.

- Decoction of Arjuna bark boiled in milk promotes heart health.
- Take10- 20- ml of Arjuna decoction with honey to treat diarrhea.
- Take 4-8 tsp of Arjuna with the same quantity of milk to treat UTIs.
- Dried bark powder with rice washed water to treat blood in urine.
- Best antacid, chew fresh bark & swallow the juice.
- Bark paste mixed with honey to improve complexion.
