SHORT DESCRIPTION
Lavender is thought to contain properties that help all three doshas: vata, pitta, and kapha. Lavender is a relaxing, cooling, and soothing energy that balances the kapha and pitta doshas while stimulating the vata dosha. Its flower and oil have a pleasant aroma and are also used to treat many ailments. Lavender has oil that has relaxing properties and may help to relax some muscles.

PRECAUTIONS & SIDE EFFECTS

HOW TO USE
- Lavender herbal tea is made by steeping a few lavender flowers in a cup of water and boiling it for 5 minutes. Drink this tea before bedtime to relieve menses pain and discomfort.
- Mix 2-3 drops of lavender oil with a carrier oil preferably rosemary oil and massage gently over the scalp, to cure hairfall.
- Use 2-3 drops of lavender oil with coconut oil and apply over the affected area to cure colicky pain.
