SHORT DESCRIPTION

The reddish-brown gum resin par of Shalmali is called mochrasa which is sweet, astringent in taste and cooling in nature. It is styptic and hemostatic in action as the gum exudate contains gallic and tannic acids. Aid in balancing kapha and pitta dosa effectively.
