SHORT DESCRIPTION

Bharangi has a bitter taste with dry digesting nature. The therapeutically usable parts of bharangi are roots or mool. It is basically used to pacify aggravated Kapha and vata doshas but overdosage can vitiate the pitta. Bharangi and its constituents contain antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and hepatoprotective properties. It has also been proven to have powerful histamine antagonism, mast cell stabilisation, and spasmolytic action.
