Nagarmotha roots have a unique aroma and are commonly utilised in culinary spices, perfumes, and incense sticks. They can be used fresh, dried, or formed into decoctions. The flavour characteristic of this potent digestive herb is pungent, astringent, and bitter. It is both dry and mild on the digestive system. chilly in potency and pungent in metabolic character The bioactive components of this bitter plant balance the Pitta and Kapha doshas, but an excess of it may aggravate the Vata dosha.

HOW TO USE

• Apply a paste of Nagarmotha powder mixed with a tbsp of coconut oil to help reduce swelling and stop bleeding.
• Consume ¼  tbsp of nagarmotha powder with honey after meals to aid in digestive functioning.
• Swallow nagarmotha powder with lukewarm water twice a day after taking food to control worm infection.
• Boil ½ tsp of nagarmotha powder in a cup of water, till it reduces to half. Drink this 2-4 times a day, in a gap of at least 4-5 hours to get relief from fever.
• To get relief from eczema, mix 1 tbsp of nagarmotha oil in coconut oil and apply it to the affected area. Wash it with normal water after 2-3 hours.
